Where will you venture?

The tide of hope is rising with the reopening of many beaches, parks and other outdoor areas previously closed due to Covid-19. Many of us are taking advantage of the opportunity to break free and rediscover the benefits of spending quality time in nature. Some even encounter the spirit of God while on those retreats.

For that to happen, you don't need to be some sort of mystic. You only need to be open to spiritual discovery. When we expect God's appearance in His creation, we will find Him in peace, wonder and joy.

Can you think of an outdoor place where you have found your heart at ease? In those hills, valleys and forests could you sense a higher presence? In those rivers, lakes and oceans, did you perceive eternity? Perhaps you even transcended to a deeper level of self.

Soul deep.

With each new day, discovery awaits. So, where will you venture today? Whether north, south, east or west, the destination itself isn't that important. What matters most is what you seek and find there. So, go ahead, strap on your spiritual backpack. Open your eyes and heart. Wherever you go, rest assured, God will be there.
